1. Additional layers of Chopped strand
matt are used over the woven matt on the top of the seat tanks to improve
impact resistance in glass boats
2. Bare hull includes toe strap attachment
points, 3 inspection ports, mast step (proctor), 1 bailer, forestay fitting and
block and inbuilt sidestay Harken turning blocks plus tubes through to forward
compartment, 3 Leader blocks to sidetanks on each side and mast ram attachment
to foredeck. This will save a lot of time in the fitout as these systems are
difficult to do yourself and are done at cost price. We can delete all these at
a saving of A$1000
3. All hulls and decks are fully cored
with balsa to floors and foam to sidetanks. Mast step cored with marine ply for
extra strength. Prepreg hulls cored with nomex honeycomb in all areas except
sites of attachments of fittings on
casecap and some vertical surfaces of sidetanks. This greatly simplifies fitout
of the nomex cored boats.
4. We can provide all fittings and ropes
for you to fitout according to our standard spec and also provide a
comprehensive fitout guide . Fittings are sold at cost and our bulk wholsale
purchasing power results in major savings . Alternatively we can do the fitout
for you. POA.
5. Colour- one colour hull and one colour (may be different to hull) deck quoted. Pre-preg hulls are spray painted with extra coats for cutback to owners own reqts.
